Welcome to Paws and Claws of Amherst Va.  We  are family owed and operated with years of experience taking care of furry, feathered and scaled pets.  Our facility is temperature controlled where we provide one on one attention to each special pet staying with us.   Our home and boarding facility is located on a 12 acre farm along the Tye River in Amherst County, Va  easy access just off Route 29.

What we require
What Shots are Required to Board my Dog or Cat
We require proof of current vaccines and a flea preventive from your veterinarian. We recommend a tick preventive for the health of your pet.
Who provides food for my pet?
We feel that the least amount of change is better for you pets.  To avoid gastric upset you provide their food. If you prefer we can provide food.  We feed Fromm canned and dry food and would be glad to give you a quote based on the pets size and nutritional needs.
